A California coffee shop owner’s support for Charlie Kirk drew heavy backlash until her community and people across the nation learned of the situation.

Invita Café in Rancho Santa Fe put stickers on its cups to honor Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA, after he was fatally shot during a speaking event at Utah Valley University on September 10, Fox News reported Thursday.

The stickers read, “Thank you, Charlie Kirk” and, “We Love You.” Cafe owner Sara De Luca told the outlet she had supported Kirk for many years and did not think twice about showing her respect in that way.
