GREENWOOD, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office reports the Greenwood Sonic was shut down following the discovery of fentanyl pills on Thursday.
Officials said multiple searches across Greenwood led to two arrests.
Kayla Beggs, a manager at the Greenwood Sonic, was arrested at work on Thursday on a warrant for distribution of fentanyl. Officers found blue fentanyl pills in the storage room of the restaurant before contacting state health inspectors and shutting down the restaurant, officials said.
Quintavius Crawford was also charged with trafficking fentanyl after around 250 grams of blue fentanyl pills and two firearms were found on Lisa Drive, according to officials.
