BALL, La. (KALB) - Kenny Ponthier is a senior running back for the Tioga Indians who has been lighting up the gridiron this season.
“Everybody came into this season really wanting something different after going 4-6 last season, and we’re just a completely different mindset,” said Ponthier.
Even though Ponthier had 240 yards in the Indians’ recent 54-30 victory over Richwood, he gives all the credit to his teammates.
“This is not me,” said Ponthier. “My line has done a great job, and it’s just a reflection of the work we put in over the summer. I feel like everybody on this team definitely put in a lot of work, and I can’t take all the credit for this, because my line has been doing a great job.”
Senior middle linebacker Kohen Henry shared, “He’s a unique guy. He’s never going to take
