TEXARKANA, Texas (KSNW) -- Police in Texarkana are calling a freak accident like something "straight out of a movie script."

The department reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in a construction zone on Interstate 30. The driver of a dump truck reportedly left his bed lifted as he passed through the construction area.

At some point, the raised bed snagged a utility wire strung over the interstate. The truck yanked the wire down, and when a semi truck driving on the interstate itself hit the wire, it snapped the utility pole and slung it into traffic like a giant slingshot.

Two trucks that were unable to stop in time ran into the pole and the wire. Texarkana Police say the wire ripped through the side of one of the trailers like a whip, slicing through steel and alumin
