PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man has been accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, manslaughter and other charges after a crash in Marion County earlier this week.

The crash involved one vehicle and left one person dead and two others injured on Monday.

A black Ford Ranger pickup had rolled and was heavily damaged near the 7200 block of St. Louis Road NE outside Gervais, authorities said.

"Three passengers were injured in the crash. One passenger, Juan Garibo, 27, of Salem, was transported by Life Flight but later died at Salem Hospital. Another victim sustained a broken neck, and a third required stitches for a leg injury," the Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.
