MACON, Ga. — A man was shot and killed in Fort Valley on Thursday night, according to Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks.

Rooks said that two people were injured and one was killed in a shooting on East Main Street in Fort Valley. Rooks said a call was made to Fort Valley 911 around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Rooks said that the deceased victims was an adult man, and the two other victims were also men. One of the injured individuals was taken to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries, per Rooks.

Rooks said the deceased individual was identified as Willie Mangham III, a man in his late 40's. Rooks also said he was shot at the Mane Event, a business on East Main Street.

Rooks said the victim who was taken to the hospital was Mangham's son.
