MILWAUKEE -- The stakes of the I-94 Rivalry just got higher. The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs will face off in the NLDS, after the Cubs clinched a win in the Wild Card Series over the San Diego Padres Thursday night.
The Brewers, who hold homefield advantage throughout the postseason, will host the Cubs for Game One of the NLDS on Saturday. The start time of the game is dependent upon who advances in the Wild Card Series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
The NLDS is a five-game series, with Games One and Two being played in Milwaukee and Games Three and Four (if necessary) being played in Chicago. If the series remains tied after that, the teams would return to Milwaukee for a winner-take-all Game Five.
