CADILLAC — The City Council is expected to consider a resolution to vacate Wall Street while reserving a public utility easement at their meeting Monday evening

The Cadillac Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend vacating the area for the Lakelynn Apartments development at its September 29 meeting.

This project will include seven, three-story buildings with a total of 252 units, on land owned by KMF Construction. A public hearing is scheduled for November 17.

Also Monday night, the City of Cadillac is being asked to adopt a resolution to hold a public meeting on October 20 about the reconstruction project on Chapin Street. The aim is to install new sidewalks, improve on-street parking, update water and sewer lines, and enhance street lighting.
