MARION, Ill. (KFVS) - The first Grand Opening phase of the transformation of the former Illinois Star Centre Mall into Oasis Powersports took place on Thursday.

The Black Diamond family of businesses says the facility will be the largest powersports dealership in the nation when it is complete.

Officials say this makes history as the Illinois STAR Bond District’s first-ever Destination Retailer, setting the stage for growth, tourism, and economic impact that will benefit the entire region.
