All lanes on I-64 west, including the off-ramp to exit 281, Military Highway, in Norfolk are blocked due to police activity, according to a social media post by the Virginia Department of Transportation.

VDOT wrote on its social media there is a “special activity incident” near Robin Hood road, exit 281, close to the Norfolk International Airport.

All drivers are asked to use alternate routes and are being diverted at Northampton Boulevard, exit 282.
