A pro-Palestine march was held in Manchester today in solidarity with Greta Thurnbeg and other activists who are being held by Israeli forces.

Nearly 500 activists were sailing on around 44 boats carrying aid meant for the people of Gaza. Yesterday evening (September 1), the boats were intercepted by the Israeli navy.

Today (October 2), the Israeli foreign ministry said that every vessel had been stopped from reaching the Gaza strip and its occupants will be "deported to Europe."

The action has been met with widespread condemnation from the international community, with Turkey’s foreign ministry describing it as “an act of terror”.
