NORMAL ( 25News Now ) - A panel at Heartland Community College in Normal discussed the case of Jamie Snow with relatives and experts, raising awareness of wrongful convictions and the exoneration process on Thursday.

Snow claims he was wrongfully convicted in 2001 for the 1991 murder of Bloomington gas station attendant William Little, and he has been seeking exoneration since.

The panel included exoneree Alan Beaman , journalist and author Edith Brady-Lunny, Snow’s daughters Nicole and Jessica Snow, Exoneration Project Attorney Lauren Myerscough -Mueller, retired police chief Ray Wilson, and a former juror.

The discussion brought awareness to the family’s struggle following Snow’s arrest and the process of exoneration through Beaman’s experience to the public.
