Boy on his bike hit by SUV while in a crosswalk in Crookston, MN

CROOKSTON, Minn. (KVRR) — A boy is being treated at a Crookston hospital after he was hit while riding his bike in a crosswalk.

Police say the 10-year-old was at the intersection of East Robert Street and Bridge Street when he was hit around 3:30 Thursday afternoon.

He was taken to RiverView ER and the extent of his injuries is unknown.

The driver of the SUV that his the boy has been identified as 20-year-old Kyrie Schehr of Crookston.

Police say the incident remains an active investigation.
