PIERZ — Olivia Thielen, Addie Thielen, Adi Tomala and Maycee Zupan earned singles wins for the No. 3 Pierz Pioneers in a 7-0 win over the No. 6 Aitkin Gobblers in the Section 7-1A Team Quarterfinals Thursday, Oct. 2.

Madelyn Kessler, Clara Tax, Laura Young, Abbie Virnig, McKenna Hoheisel and Evalie Gall tallied doubles wins as Pierz recorded its 15th win.

PEQUOT LAKES — Claire Oseland won her No. 3 singles match 6-0, 6-0 as the No. 2 Pequot Lakes Patriots cruised past No. 7 Stella Maris Academy 7-0 in the Section 7-1A Team Quarterfinals Thursday, Oct. 2.

Pequot’s Nikki Crocker, Emme Sullivan, and Sadie McGuire all won singles matches in straight sets. Doubles teams of Sierra Larson-Francine Ganley, Keira Strong-Bailey Westerman and Briella-Eggert-Kate Ouradnik also recorded straight set
