PHOENIX (AZFamily) — No officers are hurt after a police shooting in Phoenix, authorities confirmed Thursday evening.

At this time, details are extremely limited, but Phoenix police confirmed it happened near 16th Street and Buckeye Road.

The suspect involved was struck by gunfire and taken to the hospital in “serious condition.” No other injuries were reported.

At this time, police aren’t looking for anyone else.

This marks the eighth shooting involving Phoenix PD in six weeks.
