Cole Debbis scored two second-half goals to provide the winning margin as Canon-McMillan’s boys soccer team knocked off Mt. Lebanon, 3-2, in a Section 2 match played Thursday night at Canon-McMillan.

The Big Macs improved their record to 5-3 in the section and 10-3 overall with the victory. Mt. Lebanon, ranked No. 5 in WPIAL Class 4A, drops to 4-3-1 in the section and 9-4-2 overall with the loss.

Canon-McMillan opened the scoring 47 seconds into the match on a goal by Adam Kuchera. Mt. Lebanon responded 21 seconds later with Benton Thompson finding the net.

Debbis scored the winning goal with 21 minutes left in the second half, then scored again with 18:43 remaining.
