With Leeds Bradford Airport’s recent £100 million terminal expansion comes an all-new set of airport lounges for travellers. There’s a choice between the higher tier Six Eight One Lounge and The Avro Lounge.
Previously, the airport was home to the 1432 Runway Club and the Yorkshire Lounge. We'd visited the 1432 Runway Club which offered a rather drab and disappointing experience with a bland miserable looking breakfast .
We decided to try out the Six Eight One Lounge which was billed as the “ultimate treat” which offered bar service, buffet style dining, and wi-fi. You get all of this for £34 for two hours. Unfortunately, when we visited on an early September morning, it was absolutely packed so there was a limited amount of seating.
