ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. —
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced charges related to the Pine-Richland School Board election on Thursday.
According to Sunday, 36-year-old Kayla Van Blargan of Wexford is accused of forging at least four elector signatures on a nomination petition for Kathleen Ravotti earlier this year. Advertisement
Ten signatures are required to be on the ballot.
"Our kids are watching us as adults. They're taking our cues from us. And this community just deserves better. Our kids in this district deserve better,” said Liz DeLosa.
DeLosa is running for the Region 1 school board position and was previously up against Ravotti before she dropped out of the race.
