A Minnesota man is accused of posing as a high school student so he could play on the football team .
White Bear Lake Area High School principal Russell Reetz wrote in a letter to parents that an adult person had “provided fraudulent documentation and a false identity to enroll” in the school.
The school did not name the suspect, but KSTP identified him as 22-year-old Kevin Luebke .
Luebke enrolled as a “homeless unaccompanied youth” under the false identity of “Kevin C. Perry Jr.,” according to White Bear Lake Area School Superintendent Wayne Kazmierczak. He was enrolled from Sept. 3 to Sept. 29.
Reetz added the person had been arrested and is banned from school property.
Several students told KARE11 the man had been on the football team.
