MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - The Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Mishawaka as the organization moved into their new offices and training center.

This is on E. McKinley Avenue.

The new location provides the company with a way to serve the community more and allows for a more welcoming space for anyone looking to work with them.

“We need community. We need family again, we need neighbors again and they are bringing that to the South Bend and Mishawaka community. The work they are doing is something we should all be a part of,” said Tomecia Scales a ribbon cutting ceremony attendee.

Attendees of the ceremony were offered refreshments as well as chance to tour the new facility.
