MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The New Hampshire Attorney General's office launched a new committee to review domestic violence deaths to prevent similar crimes.

A law signed in July by Gov. Kelly Ayotte created the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Committee, which aims to review domestic violence incidents that result in death.

Objectives include a focus on services, obstacles to protection, and prevention strategies moving forward.

More than a dozen members are involved across professions relevant to the investigations, including state agencies, police, and advocacy nonprofits.

As long as a death is involved, the case is eligible for the committee to review.

"Any case that involves a fatality that has a domestic violence angle to it would qualify for the committee's review," said New Hampshir
