Holding a team to three points over three quarters is usually a winning recipe. But it wasn’t enough on Thursday, as Morristown West fell 23-13 to West Ridge at Burke-Toney Stadium.

Prior to the Trojans' final drive, they had just 70 yards of total offense and left the defense on the field for most of the game. Eventually, the Wolves' option rushing attack wore West down and took control late.

West was able to double its offensive total in its final drive in a 71-yard drive that reduced the deficit to two scores with 16 seconds left.

The Trojans fell to 1-5 on the season with the loss.
