The IGHSAU Class 2A State Individual Tennis Champions hail from Waukee Northwest.

Waukee Northwest freshman, Addison Latta, beat Cedar Falls junior, Mackenzie Sagers, 6-1, 6-3 for the singles title. Latta completed an undefeated season, having never lost a single set.

Juniors Mia Deines and Riley Hilton from Waukee Northwest are the Class 2A doubles champions. The Wolves took down Brianna Launderville (sophomore) and Zoey Studer (junior) from Johnston 2-in two sets.

The State Team Tennis Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 6-7.

The 1A State Team Tournament is at Pella High School.

The 2A State Team Tournament is at Waukee Northwest High School.
