While there was no hierarchy of atrocities during the Troubles, as Stephen Travers recognises more than most, the Miami Showband massacre just over 50 years ago, was one of the most notorious episodes of that dismal period.
Along with his bandmate Des Lee, Travers survived the slaughter on that night, but the scars, in his case both physical and psychological, lived on,
