Man Found Dead in Street in Downtown Los Angeles

A 70-year-old man was found lying on a street in downtown Los Angeles before sunrise Thursday and later pronounced dead..

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 4:46 a.m. to Olympic Boulevard and Central Avenue where they found the man, Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were called to the scene, where they pronounced the man dead, Madison said.

He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Moises Martinez Alberto.
