A small but useful payment will be sent out to millions of homes in the UK by the DWP this winter. The DWP ' Christmas Bonus' is a one-time, tax-free payment of £10 made to people receiving certain benefits - but not Universal Credit .
These payments will be automatically issued before January 1, 2026. Martin Lewis' MSE website has previously reported that 16 million people claimed the bonus in just one year, so plenty of people will be able to look forward to the little treat.
In total today, nearly 24
