Kantara Chapter 1 collection: Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 has taken the box office by storm with an extraordinary opening. Released on Dusshera, the much-awaited prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara collected an estimated Rs 60 crore net across India on its first day, according to figures shared by Sacnilk.

The pan-India release has not only emerged as one of the biggest openings for a Kannada film but has also outperformed several high-profile releases this year. Day one earnings have surpassed Saiyaara (Rs 22 crore), Sikandar (Rs 26 crore), and Chhaava (Rs 31 crore), placing Rishab Shetty’s directorial firmly at the top of the festive season box office.
