A Texas man named Hurshell Ralls underwent surgery for bladder cancer, only to wake up to shocking and devastating news. Instead of just removing his bladder, the doctors had also removed his penis and testicles. What stunned Ralls the most was that neither he nor his wife had been informed that this could even be a possibility.
Subsequent pathology tests revealed that the penile tissue removed showed no signs of cancer. Ralls later filed a lawsuit against the Clinics of North Texas in Wichita Falls, alleging medical negligence and failure to properly inform him before the surgery.
