Denmark is currently facing a potential threat of sabotage against its armed forces, according to Thomas Ahrenkiel, Director of the Danish Defence Intelligence Service.

The nation recently experienced drone incursions that forced the temporary closure of six military and civilian airports. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen described the situation as a hybrid attack, hinting at Russian involvement.

Denmark's intelligence service suggests that Russia is engaging in hybrid warfare against Denmark and the West by employing military tactics designed to exert pressure without initiating open conflict. Despite the aggressive posture, Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen assured there is no direct military threat to the country.
