Indian forces downed five fighter jets of Pakistan, which included F-16 and JF-17 during Operation Sindoor in May, said Indian Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh. He added that the longest hit that Indian armed forced made during the conflict was at a distance of 300 km.

He said that Pakistan losses includes airfields, radars, command and control centres, runways and fighter jets. He said at least 4 to 5 fighter jets were downed by the India armed forces during four nights of conflict between the two countries.
