Sukhbir Badal calls on farmer leader Balbir SIngh Rajewal

Ludhiana (Punjab), October 3, 2025:Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday visited the residence of prominent farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal. Former minister Sikandar Singh Maluka also accompanied him during the meeting.

The two leaders reportedly held a long meeting, sparking political speculation. However, speaking to the media afterward, Sukhbir Singh Badal clarified that the visit was not political in nature.

He said, “This was not a political meeting. I only came to inquire about Rajewal Sahib’s well-being. My late father, Parkash Singh Badal, shared a bond with Rajewal Sahib like that of brothers.”
