Pakistan on alert as Peshawar blast kills 9, injures policemen

Peshawar (Pakistan), October 3, 2025: A major terrorist attack rocked Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on Thursday, claiming the lives of nine people and leaving four policemen critically injured.

According to officials, the explosion targeted a police vehicle, indicating that it was a planned terror strike. Capital City Police Officer Mian Saeed confirmed that the attackers deliberately aimed at security personnel.
