New Delhi: An assistant professor at the Delhi-based Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital has recently been arrested for allegedly harassing a MBBS student .

According to the statement issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Prashant Gautam, a PCR call was received at the GTB Enclave Police Station at around 12:09 pm on September 26. The caller, a female medical student, reported that she had been subjected to physical harassment inside the hospital.

An MBBS student alleged that an Assistant Professor of the Anesthesia Department at the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) molested her on the pretext of conducting viva exam, reports Tribune.
