Aspen Mountain might not be close to the height of Mount Everest, but that won’t stop some 200 folks from trying to ascend 29,029 feet this weekend.

Starting on Friday morning, the company 29029 — named for the elevation of Earth’s highest point — will give 200 participants 36 hours to climb Ajax nine times, the number of trips needed to reach that fabled number.

Unlike other enduro events in Aspen, there is no overall winner and no time kept. It’s less of a competition and more of a personal challenge for the athletes, 29029 CEO Marc Hodulich said via phone on Wednesday.
