LOGAN - This Saturday, Oct. 4, approximately 3,400 student musicians will descend onto Merlin Olsen Field at Utah State University for one of the state’s largest marching band competitions.

The stadium is located at 1000 N. 1200 East in Logan. The annual Bridgerland Marching Band Invitational has been going on for over 25 years.

The Beehive state high school marching bands come to show camaraderie and compete for bragging rights.

The Mountain Crest High School Marching Band, led by Joel Yoder, is sponsoring the event and invites everyone to watch 40 marching bands of various sizes from around the state strut their stuff. This band competition is an experience most people won’t soon forget.

"This is one of the biggest and best marching band competitions in Utah," a press release states.
