The government has extended the deadline for submitting applications under the Production Linked Incentives (PLI) scheme for textiles. Now, the last date for filing applications has been pushed to December 31, 2025 to apply, giving the industries a fresh opportunity to participate in the scheme.
The Ministry of Textiles said that the decision was taken after receiving an "overwhelming and enthusiastic response" from stakeholders. The most recent invitation round, which began in August 2025 saw strong interest from players across the Man-Made Fibre (MMF) Apparel, MMF Fabrics and Technical Textiles sectors.
Earlier, the Centre had extended the original headline for the PLI scheme from September 1 to September 30, following enthusiastic response from the industry stakeholders. Now, it has
