SHEFFIELD LAKE, Ohio (WJW) -- A lucky person in northeast Ohio could be holding a lottery ticket worth $25,000 a year for life, or a one-time payment of $390,000, and not even know it yet!
According to lottery documents, a Lucky For Life ticket purchased at Amvets Post #55 in Sheffield Lake matched five out of five numbers in the Thursday, Oct. 2, drawing to win the game’s second prize.
The winning numbers were 16-21-26-34-48, and the Lucky Ball was 7.
The winner now has 60 days to choose the annuity payments or the cash option and 180 days to validate and cash the ticket, according to the Ohio Lottery.
Lucky for Life drawings are held seven days a week. The top prize is $1,000 a day for life. The odds of winning the top prize are just 1 in 30,821,472.
