Thanks to another day of lots of sun and southwesterly winds, we could watch temperatures break a 20-year-old record. In 2005, we reached 85 degrees on October 3rd; today, we're forecast to hit 87. Humidity will also slightly increase today, with dew points getting into the low-60s. Temperatures overnight stay mild and drop to 63, and our Saturday high also gets into the high-80s.
Sunday, we stay sunny but watch our high temperatures start to dwindle, only getting into the low-80s for the end of the weekend. Late Sunday night and early Monday morning, we'll have a cold front sweep across the state, bringing seasonable temperatures and a chance for rain and a few storms to kick off the work week.
