Dhruv Jurel joined legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni in an elite list on Friday (October 3) by scoring a century in the ongoing first India-West Indies Test in Ahmedabad. The century by Jurel on Day 2 of the first Test helped him become the sixth Indian wicketkeeper-batter to score a Test century against the West Indies.

Jurel completed his century by scoring a boundary on the last ball of the 116th over of India’s first innings. He needed 190 balls to reach his maiden international century for the Indian team.
