Of course, they trotted out Bucky Dent at Yankee Stadium before Thursday night’s win-or-else Wild Card Game 3 against the Red Sox .

On the 47 th anniversary of his famous playoff home run at Fenway Park, Dent tossed the ceremonial first pitch and Schlittler took it from there – dialing up 100-mph fastballs, frustrating the Sox through eight shutout innings.
