CONCORD, N.H. —
Taylor Swift fans in New Hampshire got a chance to get their hands on the singer's new album as soon as it was released at midnight Friday. The new album is called "The Life of a Showgirl."
Target stores in Concord, Nashua and Somersworth opened at 12 a.m. just for the release. People who wanted to get a copy right away had to get tickets in advance. They were then able to head into select stores at 11:45 p.m. Thursday to make their midnight purchases.
News 9 caught up with some Swifties at the Target in Concord to ask them why it was so important to make the late-night trip.
"She really relates to a part of me that nobody else does, so it's important for me and it's important that I'm here," said Anna, of Hampstead.
