PORT ALLEN, La. (WAFB) - A suspected drug dealer known as ‘Jamaica’ is in custody after a major drug operation in West Baton Rouge Parish.
According to Sheriff Jeff Bergeron, a Port Allen man, Garrett Taylor, 56, who is known to alleged clients as “Jamaica,” was arrested by West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division agents after multiple undercover purchases.
Agents reportedly bought methamphetamine and marijuana from Taylor on several occasions.
Agents took Taylor into custody on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
A search warrant was then executed at his house, where agents reportedly seized more than 45 grams of methamphetamine, more than 50 grams of marijuana, and more than 10 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
