Cuttack: Former India off-spinner and Odisha woman star player Rasanara Parwin has retired from professional cricket
“Rasanara Parwin has announced her retirement from cricket. Her remarkable journey, representing Odisha and Team India, has made the state proud and inspired countless young cricketers to follow their dreams,” Odisha Cricket Association informed though a social media post on Thursday. ADVERTISEMENT
A native of Balangir town, Rasanara, was the second woman cricketer from Odisha, to represent India. She played one One-Day International, three T20 International and around 130 senior domestic matches in her career that spanned over 15 years.
