CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — One woman is under arrest in connection with a stabbing incident in Taylor County.

Campbellsville police said around 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to a home at Smith Ridge Road, where they found a woman lying in her front yard with multiple stab wounds.

An arrest citation revealed that the woman's name was Erica Meredith, who could not tell the police the reason for the assault due to the pain from her injuries. She was taken from the hospital and air-lifted to the University of Louisville Hospital due to the severity of her injuries.
