The Riverside school board has agreed to buy new school district offices for about $24 million.
The two office buildings off Iowa Avenue in Riverside will house the Riverside Unified School District’s administrative offices, bringing all its satellite offices into the buildings across the street from Hunter Hobby Park.
The buildings, at 1500 and 1450 Iowa Ave., are at the street’s intersection with Marlborough Avenue.
Today, the district’s main headquarters is a three-story building in downtown Riverside, at the corner of 14th and Lime streets. But it also has satellite offices, including two on Arlington Avenue and one on Washington Street that houses maintenance operations.
