The last laps at Pittsburgh International Race Complex will be run later this year.

Jim and Kathy Stout, the owners of the Beaver County complex, announced on Wednesday that they are “stepping away” from ownership of the facility in Big Beaver.

“It’s been a fun journey and ride,” they said in a Facebook post.

Pitt Race is a 400-acre motorsports facility featuring a 2.8-mile road course with 19 corners and multiple elevation changes, as well as a .83 mile karting track, according to Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.

Hooked on Driving Northeast Region, a driver education program, announced that it has received confirmation that it will host the final event, scheduled for November 8 and 9, at the track.
