Gov. Ron DeSantis announced a new 2-mile trail located in Clearwater dedicated to Hulk Hogan on Friday morning.
The trail is set to have red and yellow signage marking different exercise stations along it. One example DeSantis gave of a station was a pull-up bar.
DeSantis made the announcement during a news conference that was held at Hogan's Hangout, located at 499 Mandalay Ave. in Clearwater.
The governor spoke highly of the professional wrestler, saying, "I don't think you're ever going to be able to find someone who is going to eclipse him in terms of star power."
His memory is going to live for a long time, he added.
Following the governor's announcement, Hogan's son, Nick, and friend, Jimmy, thanked everyone for the honor.
