Eight seaside houses have now collapsed into the ocean in North Carolina's Outer Bans, as the region faces raging swells from Hurricane Imelda. “Further collapses are possible in Buxton, and in Rodanthe, so visitors are urged to stay away from houses in the ocean water and use caution near debris,” the National Park Service (NPS) warned.
