PlayStation fans aren’t too happy with recent comments made by Sony Interactive Entertainment’s president and CEO regarding the future of their next generation of hardware, but I can’t help but feel like the anger is a tiny bit misplaced.

The PlayStation 6 feels like it should still be a long way off, but it’s clear that Sony is investing a lot of time and resources into preparing for the next generation.

PlayStation 5 owners think that they’re focusing on the next gen earlier than they should however, following recent comments made by SIE’s president and CEO Hideaki Nishino.

As spotted by VGC's Andy Robinson, the topic of the PlayStation 6 came up during a recently published interview with investors on Sony's official website, and Nishino had this to say regarding the console's future.
