Wine can become a symbol of resilience against climate change. Wineries—and businesses in general—have the responsibility and the tools to adapt their business models toward a common goal, prioritizing long-term vision and generating a positive impact on people and the environment.

For instance, Penedès is one of the oldest wine regions in Spain, originating in the 7 th century BC with the Phoenicians. But thanks to climate change, this region—three millennia of winemaking history—is now at risk. At the end of the 19 th century, Phylloxera bugs infected vineyards across Europe but a solution was found, and viticulture adapted and continued.
